Digital Filipino Web Awards 2009
We won! My group, the Cebu Bloggers Society, won in the community category at the 3rd Digital Filipino Web Awards.
I was at the train station when our dear president called to say he was sending me to the two-day E-Commerce Summit, where we were given a free slot to, and where the awards would be given out. I wanted to be there the whole time, but I had work, and cases were starting to pile up at school, so I opted to just go on the second day for the awarding ceremonies.
Anyway, while the photo above was taken, Janette Toral of Digital Filipino was saying beside me, “Blogger ko bai!” (Cebuano for “I’m a blogger!”). I realized I should have worn the now-famous CBS shirt.
CBS, here’s a close-up shot of our trophy!
I took this photo at home. My camera died on me at the event, even though I charged my batteries before going. 
I think I need new rechargeable batteries or I might need to have someone look at my battery charger. It’s pathetic to go to a big event and not have lots of exciting photos to show. I had to scour Facebook for the photos. (And thanks to Janette for tagging me in some of them).
